Unfinished Business

I usually have quite a high tolerance for Vince Vaughn, but man was this the most unnecessary piece of filmmaking I’ve seen since RIPD.

And I may have kept quiet except for what they did to poor Tom Wilkinson. The dude was in zzz5three (3!) of my favourite movies last year – Selma, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Belle. And this is his follow-up?

I mean, this is a movie where even Vince Vaughn was misused. And what they did to Nick Frost was criminal. But Tom Wilkinson might have a human rights complaint. It’s a goddamn travesty and I feel worse about myself for having seen it.

I never saw this one. Poor Vince. He’s had some stinkers lately. But I can’t wait to see him in the second season of True Detective. With a name as cool as Vince Vaughn, the guy deserves a cool gig.

Ugh, I can’t stand Vince Vaughn (see your post about annoying female actresses? That’s my reaction to VV…). Tom Wilkinson, however, is one of my favourites, evah! To hear he has been misused – well, I can’t go for that. I won’t be tuning in.

I love him dearly myself. I’m heart sick that it has somehow come to this, but don’t really understand how. Well, money I guess, but it seems the guy had already had a busy year!

well I hadn’t heard of this, so wiki’d the plot, when it got to “Dan encounters Bill in a bathroom with other men sticking their penises through glory holes.” I figured I probably will give it a miss. 😀 (am I allowed to say penises do you think? If not please delete this).

The only reason I wanted to see this was FOR Tom Wilkinson (who is one of my favorite actors)…but now I think I’m stay far, far away, for fear it’ll scar my cinematic relationship with him.

I also liked Tom Wilkinson in the first Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Wasn’t he also a good actor in the Whistleblower movie, but not sure of this title? I like Vince Vaughn when he is in a funny group of actors, there are many which come to mind, but liked him in the “Wedding Crashers” and also, the one with Jennifer Anniston, since he had to change a little, “The Break Up.” Thanks for listening and hope you find a good movie which makes you happy. Don’t you think the new movie, “Spy,” is getting good ratings and may be worth checking out? Smiles, Robin

Yup, I already saw Spy last week and posted that indeed I did like it!
Tom Wilkinson WAS great in the Marigold Hotel. Really missed him in the sequel, I tell ya.
Loved him Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind.
But really fell in love with him during a TV movie that was better than its time – called Normal, about a transgendered father\mother. He was splendid, and this movie was a decade ahead of its time, but really got to me.

I knew this was going to be crap. Vince Vaughn is a piece of shit. I hope he rots in hell one of these days. He used to be talented but now has become a lazy fuck.
